England squad vs Spain: ( Defoe, Rooney, Gerrard, Walcott injured)

Goalkeepers: Green (West Ham), Hart (Man City), James (Portsmouth).

Defenders: Bridge (Man City), A Cole (Chelsea), R Ferdinand (Man Utd), Jagielka (Everton), G Johnson (Portsmouth), Terry (Chelsea), Upson (West Ham), L Young (Villa).

Midfielders: Beckham (AC Milan), Barry (Villa), Carrick (Man Utd), Downing (Middlesbrough), Lampard (Chelsea), Milner (Villa), Wright-Phillips (Man City), A Young (Villa).

Forwards: Agbonlahor (Villa), C Cole (West Ham), Crouch (Portsmouth), Heskey (Villa).

Although If you just want a fully fit current squad id probably just replace Woodgate with Upson, i believe hes Capello's third choice centre back.

That looks like a positive, attack minded squad. :)

"When we were winning leagues and European Cups at Real I always said Makelele was our most important player. There is no way myself Figo or Raúl would have been able to do what we did without Claude and the same goes for Liverpool and Gerrard."

Heres the squad for the upcoming games:

Foster (Man Utd), Green (West Ham), James (Portsmouth); Baines (Everton), A Cole (Chelsea) Ferdinand (Man Utd), Jagielka (Everton), Johnson (Portsmouth), King (Tottenham), Lescott (Everton), Terry (Chelsea), Upson (West Ham); Barry (Aston Villa), Beckham (LA Galaxy), Carrick (Man Utd), Downing (Middlesbrough), Gerrard (Liverpool), Lampard (Chelsea), Lennon (Tottenham), Wright-Phillips (Man City); C Cole (West Ham), Crouch (Portsmouth), Heskey (Aston Villa), Rooney (Man Utd).

I think alot of changes need to be made to the first post with numbers added too.

This is what I have in my game based on what Ive read recently.

Goalkeepers:
James
Green
Foster - Ahead of Hart because Given is now the first choice at Man City

Defenders:
Terry
Ferdinand
Upson
Lescott
Glen Johnson
Jagielka
A. Cole
Bridge - Not in recent squad but only beacause of an injury

Midielders:
Gerrard
Barry
Wright-Phillips
Joe Cole - Injured but should probably keep his spot unless someone else impresses
Carrick
Lampard
Beckham
Downing

Strikers:
Rooney
Heskey
Crouch
C. Cole

Young has been dropped for the upcoming games so if you replace Cole with anyone yes it should be Lennon.

well, then Lennon instead of Joe Cole. I will wait other suggestions (and a starting 11 formation :D), otherwise tomorrow night I will update this (outdated) team ;)

EDIT: maybe too many RMF?
RMF: Wright-Phillips, Lennon, Beckham
LMF: Downing

Lennon could play on the left though he is better on the right.

Thats why I'd have Ashley Young in there... he's capable on both.

But Lennons in the squad due to his Current Form, because young hasn't been playing well lately.

Beckhams only in the squad due to his name.

Don't forget Barry is able to play LMF too. ;)

He got injured again, hurt his knee while walking after training... somehow...

I meant that as what the first choice starting XI would be if everyone was fit.
