79 in Defence would be too low compared to the other defender in the Bundesliga like Demichelis, Subotic or Hummels and I think the players here are generally rated higher in Defence than in our league.
You also have to consider he rather prefers the middle where is definitely better, hence SB is only a second position. During the game against Argentina he was from time to time in the middle than on his side and there he cleared everything away what ran against him. And defence is not only positioning, in his tackling Boateng shows a good timing and also mostly a nice accuracy if he isn't too engaged when challenging an opponent.

Header can go down, but Boateng is a bench in the defence when he comes to the ball and when I see how good some defenders are rated in the Bundesliga I think an 80 isn't bad at all.

I don't agree with lowering his Team Work. You say you want to reduce his TW, you mentioned pros and cons, but the contra is belonging to to his defence, strange. Boateng has a pretty good vision as you can see it when start to hit a long. He knows where to put the ball and a 78 isn't a great a value.

LPA and LPS should be higher, as he can cross the ball very well. I suggest LPA 82 and LPS 83.

having made a point of watching him a few times last year, and very closely in the w/c, his passing stands out by a mile. I agree with comments others have made about his LPA/LPS... I wanted to say that I am particularly impressed by his short passing.

he always placed exactly the right amount of weight on the ball, he got away with quite a few 'risky' passes by putting enough speed on the ball to ensure the opponent never got close. there were no issues with the direction of the pass either. and of course his vision is superb, in advanced positions he picked out passes that only the better players can see, often from odd angles, always perfectly into feet.

So I would have him at 80 spa and 81 sps. I guess it makes sense to wait and see how he translates these skills to the Premier League.

I'd ask why only 78 tech, his control of the ball is totally reliable and very efficient.... but I always find myself arguing that defenders need better tech scores. I think that's an area where I am in disagreement with the ladders.

there is something about his defending however. his positioning is good but he seems to react a little slowly. he didn't cut out enough crosses, and is sometimes beaten by quick feet, conceding the foul. he got away with several late challenges that I think were genuine, but slow, attempts to win the ball. normally the opponent didn't get past him because he was in the right position and had the right body shape. I reckon a higher def (82) and a lower response (79) would suit him.

Excellent signing, didn't notice these stats havn't been touched in awhile. Hes well deserving of an 87 BB. And can take an 81 or so response. His long passing is great, and I'd say he could sit on an 80 and deserves pinpoint pass. Also his short passing is really under-rated. I'd give him a 78 spa, 78 sps.

I'm with Albo7, the only i differ is on Badstuber, i believe that he needs to play next to a great CB that teach him, so he can learn from him, because he has the abilities but it needs to be exploited.
A question why Hummels left Bayern? or why the president let him went?

BAdstuber will play. Heynckes wanna play with Badstuber and Boateng on the CB position. Bayerns till try to buy Vidal. Leverkussen don`t wanna sell him, but his contract is just for the next season. So if Leverkusen wanna earn some money they should sell him.

No one at Bayerne expected that development at Hummels. So they let him go.

Imo, his ACC is too high, normally he needs a lot of space to get his TS, and this almost never happens, that is why most people believe he isn't fast. I think an 80-82 will suit him better.

His response aint that bad, its babd if he is in a bad mood and has to play right back thats it.
And his speed well 86is really high, but though i couldnt find a video i remember him being as fast as Gomez, his acceleration is as bad as Gomez but since Gomez has high response Boateng needs more acceleration.
Thats why i think acceleration 84is okay, he doesnt react quick atm (saw him reacting better at some games!) thats why his stats feel okay, but if he is (and im sure he will) getting sharper again and u raise his response u need to decrease acc.
