I don't think so. In Lyon he was the CF in 4-2-3-1, in France NT he was also the CF (but also a SS a couple of times).

But he is a definite SS in Real Madrid. So what should it be?

I know he has been particulary "unfit" this season with RM, so the suggestions are more and less minor:
Bal:83 He was at first at 85, then reduced to 84. Seeing his weight/Height(he gained +9 kg since then...), he could overpower his opponent ingame too easily. Furthermore he isn't so stronger than Higuain or Milito.

DS:87: He has lost some speed(maybe because of more weight), but generally his burst when dribbling is less devastating.

HEAD:78.

Ment:76 He has been particulary lazy those last years. He can show good work-rate sometimes, but too irregulary(same value as michel bastos).
+ cards: P05 – Trickster - S19 – Quick Scissor Dribble

edit: and WFF:7 : he can use both feet with no distinction(for passing and shooting).

In my opinion ;)

I disagree, mainly because he didn't get enough playing time and he spent a fair part of the season injured.

Isn't he a bit too good compared to Higuain who is obviously a better player than Benzema in my eyes?

Any similarities between this set and Madrid's Benzema is pure coincidence. Not hat good in attack, not that fast or responsive, not such a sharp shooter, dubious about the technique, and deserves low green mentality.

This player would have been decreased if the two years rule wasn't applied.

The stats in the first post are outdated, and even though my last suggestions seems ignored, i am going to post several suggestions:
ATT:84: He's been struggling to position himself around the box, it was yet one's of his strenght. He's nowadays not better than Aguero in that area.

BAL:83: He was at first at 85, then reduced to 84. Seeing his weight/Height(he gained +9 kg since then...), he could overpower his opponent ingame too easily. Furthermore he isn't so stronger than Higuain or Milito.

Agility: 83/TS:85/ACC:86 /DS:86: He lost a lot of speed, particulary his acceleration, more over he is less nimble and his changes of directions are slower when he is dribbling, so he's now uncapable to out pace his marker as he used to.

SA:83 /ST:86: he's lacking confidence and success since 1 year , more wasteful in front of goal, his shooting is less clean and he's not more accurate than higuain.

Header: 77: his heading(when he bothers trying it) is wasteful.

Tech: 90: because his first touch is that clean.

AGG:84: i hesistate to decrease his aggression but he sometimes seems to not care about going forward, or is very hesitant to go in the box, etc.

Ment: 73 : He's very lazy and has nothing to envy a player like Berbatov.

TW:83: Although he's been struggling at Madrid, he seems to have good understanding with some of his teammates(at least when he is the one to give assists). His playing style changed, he is less interested by the goals, but he likes to be involved in the"playmaking" of his team.

WFF:7 : he can use both feet with no distinction(for passing and shooting)

Agree with all your suggestions, except two, technique and mentality. His technique is not as good as Iniesta's one, I think he should be 88, between Navas and Agüero. And the mentality, one month ago I would have agreed, but he seems a little bit more compromised now, so I'd go for 75/76.

Such a waste of talent. Why he gets no more play chances to prove himself.

I agree with nonobus, also with mentality, but I agree with agüero about technique. 88 seems high enough already.
82 teamwork also seems high enough already.
For me what stats represent, green values mean a player can do it, but it's not a main skill of his and yellow means he's good in it. So for instance, if you say his heading is a wasteful, 77 is still too high, because that would mean he can still do it. So also, if he's a bit better in his teamwork, I'd say his teamwork should be in green. But that's just how I see things.

He went to Madrid instead of United.

I agree with nonobus' suggestions but I'll stick with Agüero's tweak. He's right, Benzema is now working a little harder, just like he did last year (Where he actually did)

Like I said in Rémy's thread, I go for 76 in Mentality for Benzema. Agree with the other suggestions.
BTW, does he deserves 42 in defence?
